There are now less than 60 days to the mayoral primary (and less than 50 until early voting begins). And we continue adding to those committed to our campaign.
Albany residents are eager and ready to change the trajectory of our city. They clearly want to see new leadership and will not settle for more of the same.
On April 30, just a few days away, WRGB will be hosting the first of several candidate debates. I welcome the opportunity to stand side-by-side with others and compare my record to theirs – and allow the voters to assess who they believe is best prepared to lead our city.

Earlier this week I participated in a conversation involving approximately 75 residents where we discussed important issues in our community ranging from ensuring our city is safe and providing treatment and care for those who are on our streets; to investing in our youth; to restoring our population and tax base.
On Earth Day I participated in a candidate Q and A focusing on important environmental issues, including the Rapp Road landfill closure. During my response, I observed that those in office today, have waited far too long to address issues stemming from the city’s management of its solid waste stream and recyclables. You can hear my brief thoughts here.
I also posted my support for those colleges fighting back against President Trump as he attempts to muzzle free speech and academic thought on our campuses.
I will continue working hard every day to earn your support and confidence.
